Scope

This document specifies the requirements for the development, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of prerequisite programmes (PRPs) for the management of food safety.

This code of practice also provides minimum sanitary and good hygiene practices for food handling organisations to ensure that food is safe and suitable for human consumption.

This document is applicable to all food handling activities of food and beverages for human consumption.
