Scope

This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for all sodium hypochlorite
solutions (liquid chlorine bleaches), including scented solutions, used for domestic purposes.
This standard also specifies the requirements for labelling and characteristics of containers.
This standard does not apply to solid hypochlorite or to cleaners that contain sodium
hypochlorite.
