Scope

Drag mode friction procedure will contain a reproducible and repeatable test method and describe the necessary test equipment for disc brake pads or drum brakes fitted with hydraulic or pneumatic brake actuation, in order to characterize friction materials used in the passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
The proposed test procedure will specify: sample preparation, setup, test procedure, evaluation and template presentation for the results.
